Description
Join Heartland Community College Financial Aid and ISAC staff for assistance in completing your 2025-26 FAFSA.
Representatives from Heartland Financial Aid and ISAC will be available between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm for assistance completing the FAFSA. The workshop will be held in Room 210 at HCC Pontiac.
What information do I need to complete my 2025-26 FAFSA or the alternative application for Illinois Financial Aid?
- Your 2023 federal tax returns, W-2's, and other records of money earned
- Banking statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
Additional information you will need if you are completing the FAFSA:
- Social Security Number. Be sure it is correct!
- Your Alien Registration Number, if you (student) are not a U.S. citizen
- An FSA ID to sign in electronically
If you're a dependent student, your parents will need to create their own FSA ID and complete the required information.

- Spouse income information
- SSN
- Date of birth

Yes! An ISAC Community Outreach Worker and HCC Financial Aid staff will be helping students with the FAFSA in a computer lab.
Yes, parents and other guests are allowed to attend with you. If the student is a dependent, parents will have to create their own FSA ID and complete information.
