Who should you make your appointment with?
The team member you meet with will depend on what type of student you are.
If you are:
- Currently in high school or coming to college for the first time - Kendahl Whitwood
- Transferring to Heartland from another institution - Lexi Cusac
- Returning to Heartland after taking time off - Zack McCall
- Interested in a career in Health Sciences - Michele Darnell
- Not pursuing a degree or want to take Heartland courses while attending another institution - Amanda Garard
During your appointment, we'll go over your program of study, how to apply, and the different resources available to you on campus to help you save on the cost of college and succeed academically. And if you'd like a tour of campus during your visit, we'll be glad to show you around.

When you come to campus, you can park in either Lot B or N and proceed to the Community Commons Building.
From there, our front desk staff will get you checked in for your appointment!

Of course! We'd be happy to show you around. We've had a lot of updates to our buildings here at Heartland and we love to show them off!
No, course registration will only happen once you're accepted into the college and all transcripts and/or testing requirements have been completed.
Once all of those have been completed, our Advising team will work with you on registering for courses.
