Description
Those interested in HCC's welding classes which begin in January can complete the registration process in one 90-minute appointment! Staff will be available to assist with the admission application and registration process. Appointments are encouraged to reserve your enrollment time, though not required.
Students will meet with an academic advisor to set up their student account, review important information, discuss payment and funding options and leave with a copy of their class schedule. Stop by during one of two sessions starting at 10:00am or 5:30pm.
Spring 2026 classes start on Monday, January 12. Welding classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Lincolnland Technical Education Center (LTEC). Students will begin with an 8-week intro level course, then move to an advanced course upon successful completion. By completing both courses, students will earn the Gas Metal Arc Welding Basics microcertificate and be on the pathway to completing the larger 16-hour Welding Skills Certificate. This certificate is stackable into a larger Industrial Technology - Applied Associate of Science degree.
